 Red Shoe Day Fundraiser Extended Past Deadline

The Red Shoe Day fundraiser is an annual fundraiser to raise money for the San Diego Ronald McDonald House.  The fundraiser usually consists of volunteers collecting money in red shoes.  However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the charity evolved their fundraiser to adapt to the current circumstances.

Therefore, the charity hosted a virtual Red Shoe fundraiser!  With the help of local businesses the Ronald McDonald House Charity was able to well exceed their initial goal.  

Raising over $114,000, the charity extended the fundraiser date past the June 4 deadline.  The fundraiser ended on June 12.
