South Florida Ronald McDonald House Prevails During COVID-19 Pandemic

Regardless of the circumstances, South Florida's Ronald McDonald House is committed to keeping their doors open to families in need. Thus, the COVID-19 pandemic is not stopping the South Florida House from moving towards their mission.

The South Florida House is hosting a limited amount of families and prioritizing their overall wellness. Staff members see that it is hard enough for families to navigate their child's care, let along amongst a global pandemic. With this, families are evaluated regularly to gauge the status of their well-being.

South Florida's Ronald McDonald House
became open to families in August of 1982.

South Florida's Ronald McDonald House continues their efforts by encouraging the public to continue to donate to their cause. While their usual in-person fundraising events cannot be held, the South Florida House says the easiest way to donate is by going to McDonald's.

At every McDonald's restaurant pickup window, there is a collection box that customers can drop their spare change into. Customers can also choose to round up their order total to donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
